Limpopo MEC for Social Development Mme. Nkakareng Rakgoale has urged recipients of special COVID-19 SRD grant at post offices to always adhere to social distancing to help eliminate the risk of contracting COVID-19.

MEC Rakgoale was speaking at the Westenburg Post Office where she was on a fact-finding mission following allegations of racism. It was alleged that recipients of the R350.00 special grants were queuing according to their race, an allegation found to be untrue. She proceeded to the Cycad Centre to also monitor compliance with COVID-19 regulations, as the post office is experiencing long queues like in many parts of the province.
