PHARARE- During his oversight visits on the ongoing five road projects on Thursday, July 07, the Greater Tzaneen Municipality Mayor Cllr Gerson Molapisane conceded that the state of the roads in the municipal rural areas are bad and motorist are being penalized for driving unroadworthy vehicles on the poor conditioned roads.

While visiting the ongoing five road-upgrading projects of Mandlakazi, Nwa’mitwa, Nkambako, Mulati and Pharare, the mayor commended the progress and the quality of work on these roads and further pleaded with contractors to expedite the work to meet their deadlines, so that the residents can have access to the newly upgraded roads.

“Our people are yearning for service delivery and cannot wait any longer for the projects to be finalized. We need to work fast to complete these projects so that they can use them” the mayor said.

He further emphasised the importance of his visits to these roads to verify the truth in the information he received regarding the roads.
