The minister of Basic Education Angie Motshekga says matric learners will not have to rewrite maths paper two, this follows after a leak of maths paper two.

It is believed that the paper was received by a small number of learners in Gauteng and Limpopo through WhatsApp.

Angie says they are still trying to identify the learners who were in possession of the paper.

The minister’s spokesperson Hope Mokgatlhe says that those involved will be suspended from writing matric exams for three years and will be handed over to the police.
