ELIM-A family at Elim was left horrified when a giant python swallowed a goat on Wednesday,
A massive python which is understood to have been terrorised Goveni la Bokisi village in Elim was captured and killed by the community.
When the family went outside to see what was going on, they were greeted with the sight of a massive Southern African Python with an eight-month-old goat in its coils.
The giant python measured 5 m long and weighed 25 kg.
The astonished family found the snake spelt out in an enclosure with a huge goat-shaped lump in its stomach.
The community believed the python was so exhausted from digesting its massive meal that it could not move away.
