GA-SEKORORO- Founded and established in 2015 by the late Mapula Abigail Moeng from Bellevue village, in Maruleng Municipality, the netball team is seemingly destined for success.
This comes after Bokhalva Netball Club announced their qualification to play in the upcoming Limpopo Provincial League.
The announcement which was made recently at the Nkowankowa Stadium is a big milestone for the team.
The team manager Taola Shai, couldn’t contain his excitement when contacted by Tzaneen Voice
“We are excited to be considered to be part of this big event. This announcement on its own is a big step for us as a team that started from nothing. The mood in the team has been that of jubilation since we heard the news. This means we need to work harder and improve our performance. We are going to reach greater heights “. He mentioned delightedly.
The team comprises girls under 15 years and another team of girls that are between the age of 16 to 35 years
.

“Parents, coaches, and different stakeholders offer their support voluntarily and have done exceptional work thus far in making sure these girls get ahead,” he said.
Shai reiterated that their main aim is to develop a girl child, sharpen their skills and remove them off the streets.
Nevertheless, they still face the challenge of sponsorship.
Shai appealed to local businesses to rally behind the team and help with donating equipment, netball kit, training fees, and travel costs.
