Mariveni sensational attacker netted a brace for Baroka FC

POLOKWANE-The Mariveni-born speedy attacker, Ntiyiso Bombi(20), scored a brace in a 3-1 win against the University of Pretoria in the Motsepe Foundation league on Saturday at Tuks Stadium.

Amanda Mvambi opened the scoring for the home side and the game went into the halftime break Amatuks leading by 1-0.

As the game was hotting up with few missed chances, former Westbury Footballers star Sanitho Smith levelled matters for Bakgaga in the 55 minutes.

 

 

Photo: Vukosi Baloyi Ntiyiso Bombi scored a goal for Baroka fc.It didn’t take long for the Bakgaga ba ga Mphahlele to lead the game through Ntiyiso Bombi in the 61 minutes.

Ntiyiso Bombi completed his brace in the dying moment of the game (81) and also sealed the win for Bakgaga.

With this match, Baroka FC is now in position 11 with 15 points after 13 games with only 4 wins this season.

His scoring form was a continuation of last week’s performance where Bombi scored an important equaliser in the Nedbank preliminary games against Platinum city rovers on January 08 at Global stadium in Lebowakgomo, Bakgaga went on to win 4-1 in the extra time to qualify for Nedbank’s last 32 of which they are fixtures to play against Cape Town Spurs.
