The body of a 25-year-old man was recovered from a farm dam in the Letsitele area on Wednesday. September 07.
The SAPS Search and Rescue, along with the SARZA, were called to the scene on Tuesday after two men fell off a canoe.
One man was able to swim to the nearby banks.
After the search was called off, the SAPS and ER24 crews returned to the crocodile and hippo-infested dam on Wednesday.
After searching the dam for some time, Rescue Services were able to locate the body. Unfortunately, nothing could be done for him, and he was declared dead.
The exact details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
