BOLOBEDU: A 30-year-old murder suspect, Thabo Silver Makgolola, better known as Manizo in the music scenes was remanded in custody after he briefly appeared in the Bolobedu Magistrate’s Court in June 3.
He was arrested amongst five suspects a few weeks ago after meticulous investigations into the murder of Kgaogelo Maake (23).
Police said Bad Company Music Band leader was amongst the group of people drinking in one of the homes in the village of Morutji under Tzaneen police area on 1 March 2022 when he allegedly shot Kgaogelo Maake.
The deceased, Kgaogelo Maake from Mamotintane village in Mankweng died on arrival at Letaba hospital, police said. Manizo had fled after the incident
Furthermore, Thuso Buster Rampya (38) implicated in case of possession of unlicensed firearm was granted a R1000-00 bail on Thursday whilst the third suspect 38-year-old Laughter Magobatlou also charged with possession of unlicensed firearm.
They will appear in court on Wednesday June,08 at Bolobedu Magistrate Court.
