GIYANI-A man stoned his 23-year-old ex-girlfriend who is also his baby mama to death at Dzingidzingi village.
It is alleged, that the victim was with her friend on Saturday, April 08 at around 03h00 walking from the local tavern when they met her ex-boyfriend.
It further alleged that the two had a confrontation before the suspect assaulting the victim with a stone.
Her friend screamed for help and ran to close by households, when she return the victim was critically injured and unconscious.
The suspect was nowhere to be found.
The victim was rushed to the hospital where she later succumbed to the injuries.
She was identified as Nokuthula Sithole residing at Dzingidzingi village, Giyani happy boys fc supporter di-hard supporter.
The team in a Facebook statement expressed their shock and extended their condolences to the family.
The Police opened a case of murder and a manhunt was immediately activated.
Police calls on Ceaseman Dala Chauke to avail himself at his nearest police station as it is believed he will assist the police with further investigation.
