MOPYE VILLAGE: The body of a man was found stabbed at Mopye village on Tuesday, October 31.
The police were summoned to the scene and upon arrival they found the lifeless body of the deceased lying motionless in a pool of blood with multiple stab wounds on the head, face and back of the head next to a stream
The emergency personnel were summoned to the scene at around 6:00 am and the victim was declared dead at the scene by the EMS personnel.
Tzaneen SAPS communication officer Sergeant Maurice Nkhwashu confirmed that the deceased was identified as Mphekwane John Masitle.
He said domestic violence cannot be ruled out at this point but investigation is in full swing.
