SENGATATNE VILLAGE : The Police in Seshego launched an intensive manhunt following an incident in which a husband allegedly stabbed his wife aged 45, with a sharp object and killed her at their house in Sengatane village, in the early hours of Wednesday, 05 June 2024.
It is alleged that the victim and her husband had heated argument, and apparently, the husband stabbed her wife with a sharp object on her upper body during the incident and thereafter fled the scene.
The Police and emergency medical services were alerted and the victim was certified dead on their arrival at the scene.
Police have opened case of murder. Massive manhunt to track down the suspect is underway.
The Provincial Commissioner of Limpopo Police, Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe has expressed her concern about these persistent domestic related violent crimes in our province.
“We will not stop at anything to encourage victims and witnesses to report these cases to the Police, government institutions and other community leaders. Efforts to track down the suspect are already underway with a view to arrest the suspect,” Concluded Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe.
