DAN VILLAGE- The Management of the South African Police Service in Limpopo has welcomed the 30 years imprisonment sentence handed down to 23-year-old rapist by the Ritavi Regional Court.
The accused’s sentencing came after he was arrested for raping a 14- year-old girl on 08 November 2017 at about 19:00 at Lusaka village in Dan under greater Tzaneen.

The accused further took her to his place of residence and raped her again.
The incident was reported to the police and the suspect was arrested shortly after the commission of the crime.
The second suspect is still on the run and anyone who might shed light about him may contact the nearest Police.
The case was investigated by Detective Sergeant Klaas Edmond Mulungwa of Tzaneen Family Violence, Child Protection and Sexual Offenses (FCS) Unit.
Due to the detective’s excellent investigations, the accused was ultimately convicted and sentenced to 30 years imprisonment on two counts of rape.
