PIENAARSRIVIER : A man was attacked and mauled by lions at the Dinokeng Game Reserve in Pienaarsrivier near Hammanskraal on Monday night.
The deceased, who was an employee at the reserve was last seen when he took a walk on the reserve on foot after nightfall on Monday evening.
However, the reserve fencing team discovered what appeared to be human remains at approximately 10:37 AM on Tuesday August 15th.
Hartogh Streicher, the spokesperson for the Dinokeng Game Reserve Management Authority, confirmed the loss of life saying the man was an employee of one of the landowners in the game reserve.
The identity of the deceased has not been released to the media.
