GA-PHAPHADI: A Man said to be in his late forties, was killed by some residents in the community of Ga phaphadi inBolobefu after he allegedly tried to rape a woman on Saturday, July 1.
It is alleged that at around 03h00 the intruder broke into her room and attempted to force himself on her and fortunately she screamed which triggered her Brother who was in the next room woke up to her rescue.
While the brother was trying to fend off a man, the alleged rapist stabbed the brother with a sharp object.
That screaming attracted the community to come out in large numbers. He was cornered and tied up.
The community used everything that comes on their way to beat the alleged rape suspect.
Objects such as stones, steel iron, wood, etc
Police were called and upon their arrival, they summoned the Emergency Medical Services who Declared the alleged rapist deceased.
The Kgapane Forensic Pathologists collect the body.
