MARUMOFASE-A man was killed and another wounded during a shootout at Marumofase outside Lenyenye under Greater Tzaneen on Tuesday afternoon.
When Maake Police arrived at scene, they found one man dead and another in critical condition.
Preliminary investigation indicates that the pair robbed a Phatsima polish driver of some undisclosed amount of money as he was going to deliver polish at Marumofase Primary school.
It is alleged that Community members gave chase and apprehended him.
The deceased suspect is reported to be from Lenyenye while the injured suspect is not known where is he coming from.
Police investigation will continue to determine the circumstances around the incident.
