LEPHEPANE – Lephepane Village was rocked by another tragedy on Monday, April 1st, as a man was found hanging in a house.
Police received notification of the discovery in a house situated in Mahlogwe of Greater Tzaneen Municipality Ward 34.
A swift response was initiated and police officials advanced to the scene. The individual in question was found to have ended his life by hanging himself.
Unconfirmed reports suggest that the man tried to drink a poisonous substance in the morning.
It is alleged that he hanged himself in the house while family members were outside. The name of the deceased is withheld until all family members & relatives are notified.
The circumstances surrounding the tragic event remain under investigation, as authorities work to piece together the events leading up to the woman’s untimely death.
While the exact motive behind her decision to take her own life is yet to be determined, those who knew her have expressed shock and disbelief, describing her as a kind and gentle soul.
