GA-SEKGOPO-Modjadjiskloof Police confirmed to Tzaneen voice that the victim, a 35-year-old has died after the collision on R81 Ga-Sekgopo.
At around 01:35, the victim was crossing the R81 Sekgopo road, when he was struck by a car, police said.
The driver of the motor vehicle did not stop after the accident.
Medics assessed the man and found that he had sustained numerous injuries and showed no signs of life.
Unfortunately, nothing could be done, and he was declared dead.
The exact details surrounding this incident are unknown, but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
