MALAMULE-Shock and disbelief as 5-year-old girl confesses to her mother that she was raped by stepfather at Mavambe village outside Malamulele on January 13 while her mother was sleeping.
The couple was sleeping in the same room with her 5-year-old daughter who was sleeping on the floor.
It is alleged that on the same night, the mother while sleeping in bed with her 49-year-old boyfriend Solomon Hasani Chauke, went out of the room and she never suspected anything wrong as she was fast asleep.
According to Malamulele police station communication officer sergeant, Busisiwe Khuzwayo said during the process, the alleged Suspect Solomon Hasani Chauke took the girl to the next room while her mother was fast asleep and he raped her and returned her while she was still sleeping.
Sergeant Khuzayo further said From then on, the 5 years old girl is complaining of stomach aches until 2023-04-24 when her mother got more concerned and took the child to the hospital for medical treatment, The Doctors then confirmed that the child was raped.
The child informed her mother that Solomon Hasani Chauke took her to the other room and inserted his penis into her vagina and did up and down movements until he ejaculated in her after he returned her to sleep in the room with her mother.
She further alleged that her stepfather said she must not tell anyone including her mother because he will make her disappear on earth
The suspect was traced and he is arrested where he will be charged with Rape, he will appear before the magistrate court soon.
