Man allegedly shot dead following tavern squable at Dan villag
DAN VILLAGE-A man ha reportedly lost his life after he had a squabble with his friends and subsequently shot dead by one of his friend mother’s boyfriend.
The incident is said to have happened on Saturday evening around 22:30 in Nkomanini, near Dan Village in Greater Tzaneen.
According to a witness, the deceased and two of his friends had a quarell at a local tarven.
It is reported that, during the squabble, one of the men left the spot and ran to his home, not far from the tarvern. The witness further indicated that the other two followed him home.
Allegedly, upon arriving at the home of the man who ran away, his mother’s companion took out a gun and shot the deceased on the chest.
He handed himself over to Ritavi police station following the unfortunate incident and set to appear in court on Monday
