MOKOPANE – Police in Mokopane are appealing to the public for assistance in locating Comwell Shikwambana (27), who mysteriously disappeared on Saturday, 12 April 2025, after reportedly running into the bushes along the N1 Highway.
It is alleged that Comwell, who was travelling with his girlfriend, a friend, and the girlfriend’s uncle from a funeral in Mafarana village under Maake policing, had an altercation with his girlfriend while en route to Pretoria.
He then reportedly requested to alight from a minibus taxi at around 20:30 in the Mokopane policing area.
According to his brother, the disagreement led to the vehicle pulling over. Comwell allegedly got out and ran into the nearby bushes — and hasn’t been seen since.
“Until this day, he’s not been found,” his brother added. Multiple attempts to locate him in the surrounding area have so far been unsuccessful.
