Malema promises post-matric benefits and improved social grants

DURBAN : Economic Freedom Fighters leader, Julius Malema has bold promises in his keynote address at the party’s manifesto launch.

Malema revealed the EFF’s manifesto at a packed Moses Mabhida Stadium in Durban on Saturday.

Among the pointers that Malema highlighted included the increase in social grants.

According to Malema, social grant for elderly people will be R4 180 per month should the EFF be in power.

Veterans would earn around R4 220 while the popular child support will jump to R1 200

Malema further highlighted that those who are educated deserve to be rewards, with those passed Matric receiving R1 000 per month, those who obtained degrees but are unemployed will receive R3 000 while Honours graduates will receive R4 000.
