Male Hitchhiker left naked and stranded at Tzaneen Dam

MAGOEBASKLOOF-Tzaneen Police Officers have launched a manhunt for four African males who allegedly robbed an elderly man of his belongings in Magoebaskloof.

According to police reports, the elderly male was hitchhiking at around 22:00, on Saturday, 12 December along the Magoebaskloof road when the unfortunate incident happened.

It is reported that a black polo Vivo with four occupants stopped and offered him a ride.

The victim confirmed he immediately noticed that he knows the driver of the car well. Along the journey, however, things took an unfortunate turn when he was attacked and searched.

He alleges that they took his cellphone, cash, bank cards, and clothing, leaving him only with his undergarment.

The victim stated that he was then dropped off at Tzaneen dam and the car disappeared into the night.
