MALAMULELE-Community of Shitlhelani Village in Malamulele held a Prayer service and candlelight ceremony at the scene of the accident where 6 young people died in a car crash.
According to reports, a Toyota Corolla collided head-on with a Toyota Tazz near La Havana Park, Malamulele, Vhembe District on the morning of 01 July 2023.
Four people perished on the scene and 2 people passed away at the Hospital
The details surrounding the accident are still under investigation, and authorities are working tirelessly to determine the cause of the collision. Preliminary reports suggest that one of the drivers lost control of their vehicle, leading to the collision with the oncoming car. Eyewitnesses at the scene recall a horrifying scene of mangled wreckage and the desperate efforts of emergency services to rescue those involved
