LENYENYE : The Maake Police Station in Lenyenye is among the top 5 stations where murder case are reported in the province.
This is according to Limpopo Police head of Crime register Brigadier Nnyana Molema.
Molema revealed this during the presentation of the Provincial crime statistics for the third quarter ( 1st October to 31st December) in Polokwane on Friday.
The Maake Police Station is ranked among Thohoyandou, Mankweng, Seshego and Malamulele Stations, who have the highest number of murder cases.
The station was ommited from the top 5 with contact crimes with Thohoyandou, Seshego, Mankweng all featuring again while Mahwelereng and Lebowakgomo made it to the list.
Limpopo Police Commissioner Lieutenant General Thembi Hadebe says the province has recorded a 9.3% decline in murder cases.
