LULEKANI-Dingani Khosa (31) is the owner of Dingani’s Delicious Kitchen in Lulekani under Ba-Phalaborwa.
The young entrepreneur aims to have the greatest restaurant Phalaborwa has ever seen.
Khosa started his primary school at Siphamela Primary, he then proceeded to Majeje High School and later matriculated at Masiza High School.
He mentioned that life after matric was not easy as he had to take odd jobs to survive. His biggest break to become a chef came when he was employed by Spur Phalaborwa for 6 years. Spur taught him everything he knows today and even took him to school.
The qualified chef says he is grateful for the opportunity he has been given.
He started his restaurant in 2021 at his family house in a garage after resigning from Spur. He sold burgers and chips. He buys ingriendience and makes his source and spice. Today the restaurant is two and half years old and it is based at Lulekani Shopping Centre.
“I extend my gratitude to Bheki Mdluli who gave me a year of free rent when I started the restaurant as this positioned me for better opportunities,” he said.
