MUSINA- The Limpopo Department of Economic Development, Environment and Tourism (LEDET) has cautioned the public to be on alert after lions were sighted prowling in Musina.
An undisclosed number of lions are said to be on the loose and have been seen roaming around Antonvilla and Musina Mberegeni Cemetery in Vhembe District under Musina Municipality.

LEDET said in a statement that it has deployed its rangers in Musina following alleged reports of roaming lions around Antonvilla and Musina Mberegeni Cemetery.
The department has advised the public to stay alert and avoid walking in the area and confine their visits to the cemetery part where burials take place.
The news of the roaming lions in Musina came after a 39-year-old man and a dog were attacked and injured by a prowling tigress in the Gauteng province.
