GA-SEKGOPO-Limpopo MEC for Social Development Nkakareng Rakgoale has on Monday handed over food parcels, school uniforms, and other basic amenities to three households in the Greater Tzaneen and Greater Letaba Municipalities.
This comes after two families were left distressed after their houses were damaged by fire, while the other family at Ga-Rapitsi is a youth-headed household of 10.
The Department has also deployed Social workers who have activated the family preservation, foster care, and parenting skills programmes to assist the family.
Speaking to the Media, MEC Rakgoale says social workers will remain with the affected families to provide them with support until their lives are restored.
