POLOKWANE- The Limpopo Premier Dr Phophi Ramathuba has today, 18 June announced her new members of the executive council of the 7th administration, a few days after being sworn in as the first premier of a lady in the Province.
Some of the new names in Ramathuba’s executive council which she described as a team that brings a wealth of experience, dedication and a deep commitment to serving the people, include:
•Limpopo ANCYL Chairperson Tony Rachoene as MEC for Public Works,
•Mashego Masesi in her replacement as MEC for Health
•Elias Mohoai as MEC for Treasury,
•Baldwin Tshiterekhe as MEC for LEDET
•Mathye Violet who replaced Florence Radzilani as MEC for Transport and Community Safety, while Radzilani was moved to the Department of Social Development.
While notable figures who were axed from her announcement include, Nkakareng Rakgoale, Thabo Mokone, Seaparo Sekoati, and Rodgers Monama.
Basikopo Makamu, who was contesting Ramathuba as a Premier and Mavhungu Ramakhanya are the only officials retained in their respective departments as MECs of Cogsta and Education.
Ramathuba pleaded with the public to give her team a time and opportunity to work, before being judgemental.
