NKOWANKOWA-Limpopo Department Education MEC together with Health MEC visited the learners who were involved in a bakkie accident in Bolobedu on Monday Morning.
MEC Polly Boshielo and MEC Poppy Ramathuba visited the learners to personally check the state of affairs and the extent of injuries,
The 34 learners attached to Khesethwane Secondary School at Mawa Block 8 and Mashooro Secondary School at Ga- Mokhwathi village in Greater Tzaneen Municipality were involved in a bakkie accident en-route to school that left them injured. Twenty-nine learners sustained minor injuries, whereas others are reported to have sustained serious injuries.

“We are shocked and saddened by this tragic accident. We are praying for our learners to recover speedily. They need all the support medically and otherwise that they can possibly get for them to recover and return to school” MEC Boshielo Said
Psycho-social support will also be offered to the school community in the light of these tragic circumstances.
