SEKHUKHUNE DISTRICT-Limpopo Public Works MEC Nkankareng Rakgoale had a lucky escape after being involved in a car crash on Thursday afternoon on R579 between Lebowakgomo and Jane Furse.
MEC Rakgoale, her driver and protector were driving from a government event when an oncoming truck veered towards their lane, colluding with the MEC’s vehicle at the rear end, forcing her car to go off the road.
MEC Rakgoale was on the way from Ga-Mampuru in Sekhukhune where provincial marked the World AIDS Day.
The MEC, her team and the driver of the truck were unharmed. However, they were sent to hospital for observation.
