TZANEEN-MEC for Transport and Community Safety in Limpopo Mme Mavhungu Lerule-Ramakhanya flanked by Mopani District Commander, General Willy Mashava and the Acting HoD Steve Matjena, senior law enforcement officials and other significant stakeholders, led a multi-disciplinary operation in Maake under Greater Tzaneen Local Municipality.

This was a continuation of the operation held in Sekhukhune on Tuesday, as the department intensifies measures to realize its mandate of a safe and secure Limpopo Province.

After visiting Maake Police station, MEC Lerule-Ramakhanya made an unannounced visit to Mabushe Secondary School where k-9 searches for elicit substances and crime awareness chats took place. Amongst other classrooms, MEC Lerule-Ramakhanya visited grade 8 kids in B2 classroom, who are alleged to be troublesome at the school.

She stimulated pupils to make the right choices that are going to change their future, wished them luck with their second term exams and promised to come back after the results to get feedback on their performance.
