Limpopo Health MEC spotted assisting accident victims on R37 Chuene Spoort

POLOKWANE, CHUENE SPOORT: In a remarkable display of civic responsibility, Limpopo’s MEC for Health Dr. Phophi Ramathuba¬†was spotted lending a helping hand at the scene of a vehicle accident on the R37 road near Chuene Spoort this afternoon.

The incident, which occurred on Sunday, April 14 , drew attention not only to the accident itself but to the unexpected involvement of the MEC.

Eyewitnesses reported that a Car rolled with multiple people sustained injuries.

MEC Ramathuba, who was travelling along the same route from the ANC rally at Artok sports ground under Fetakgomo Tubatse, did not hesitate to stop and provide medical assistance until emergency services arrived.

According to bystanders, the Health MEC conducted preliminary assessments of the injured parties, provided first aid, and remained at the scene to support the emergency response teams in stabilizing the victims.

Some of the victims were reported to be in critical condition and were rushed to the nearby hospital for urgent care.
