The matric class of 2021 has just one day to prepare for the start of the final exams.
The pupils will write their first paper on Wednesday.
The Limpopo Education Department says it is ready to ensure the matric examinations run smoothly to host the 2021 National Senior Certificate examinations starting on the 27th of October, with 142 520 registered candidates.
Speaking to Capricorn fm news, the department’s provincial spokesperson Tidimalo Chuene says 106 564 candidates will write in full time centres and 35 596 will write in repeat part-time centres including a correctional service centre.
Chuene says the examinations will take place at 1 609 exam centres across the province.
She says in terms of learner support, the department continues to offer the “woza matrics” campaign.
The campaign offers remote curriculum learning as well as revision and exam preparations in 10 subjects.
