GIYANI-The police in Giyani have opened a case of murder following the discovery of the lifeless body of the Lesotho foreign national body.
A lifeless body was discovered at Mavalani Village, Friday, January 20.
It is alleged that the female neighbours suspected that there might be something wrong after they smell a strange smell that was coming out of the house. Then she went to the local indhuna to report the meter and Cpf members.
She then reported the matter to the local indhuna.Ndhuna and other community members went to the said house, where they were able to open the door and they then discovered the deceased’s body lying on top of a bed with an open wound in the stomach.
The police were summoned to the scene of the crime and the case of murder was opened.
It is not clear what he was doing at Mavalani village but it is suspected that he might be part of a gang that is dealing with illegal mining.
The police identified the deceased as Mojalefa Thayisi.
