POLOKWANE: The Lekompo nation has been plunged into renewed mourning and heartbreak following the passing of yet another beloved artist.
Juddy Mabula, widely known by his stage name Juddy Malekere 99, passed away on Saturday night, November 15. His death has sent shockwaves through the Limpopo entertainment community, with tributes pouring in across social media platforms.
Although official details surrounding his passing remain unconfirmed, it is alleged that the Ba Lebeletse hitmaker was among the passengers involved in a head-on collision at the intersection of Grobler and Magazyn Street in Polokwane.
The horrific accident had already claimed the life of Vincent Maphopha, who was laid to rest a week ago. Another Lekompo star, Melita ‘Kharishma’ Ribane, is reportedly recovering from injuries sustained in the same crash.
The Lekompo fraternity has been enduring a difficult and painful period. In recent weeks, the community lost Molimisi Dr Nel Baatsi, while popular artist Lehlogonolo ‘Shebeshxt’ Chauke was arrested earlier this week. Juddy Malekere’s death has deepened the sorrow and shock rippling through the industry.
As of now, the family has not released an official statement regarding his passing. However, fans, friends, and fellow artists continue to share condolences and memories online, expressing their grief and disbelief.
