Learners heap praises on Makgoba Asset Management

MAGOEBASKLOOF – Two weeks after a momentus prize-giving ceremony, one of the recipients of the award, Sekgobela Grace is still thankful to Makgoba Asset Management.

MAM held an award ceremony and divided an amount of R50 000 to four learners who were in Matric in 2021.

In her moving speech, Sekgobela was almost short of words in thanking the company for the contribution it made to the lives of those students.

“Thank you, MAM, we are truly thankful for the financial contribution you made to us and we promise you that we’ll work hard in the universities we enrolled in and make you proud, ” said Sekgobela, who represented all learners.

The executive director of MAM, Thupane Makgoba said that this is an initiative that the company is very very proud to be a part of and will continue in the coming years to give learners hope that their situations at home cannot be a stumbling block to reach their dreams.

Representing the parents was Joseph Magoro, the father of top achiever Abigail.

Magoro also had words of encouragement to the learners but also warned them not to be distracted.

The recipients of the awards were Sekgobela Grace, Magoro Abigail, Petja Thamagane, and Magwale Shamaine.
