SHIKWANE VILLAGE – A devastating incident has occurred in Shikwane Village, Ga-Sekororo, where an 18-year-old female learner was reportedly raped by an unidentified man while walking home from school.
According to reports, the incident took place on Tuesday, April 15th, at approximately 17:20. The young woman was on her way back from school when she was accosted by an unknown African male.
It is alleged that the man dragged her into nearby bushes, threatened her with a knife, and then raped her.
The suspect is described as wearing black trousers and a brown t-shirt. He is also reported to have tattoos and scratches on his face.
The police have launched an investigation into this heinous crime and are appealing to the public for any information that could lead to the identification and arrest of the perpetrator.
