LENYENYE- The Mokgolobotho-born renowned music superstar King Monada, takes the fall for Makhadzi’s failure to pitch up for a performance at the official opening of Ejays Lounge, in Moime Village outside Lenyenye, during the Easter Weekend.
Monada who was fortified by the local businessman, Jeffrey Malatji to promote the event, took to social media to say “Whoever wants to write bad things about Makhadzi for not pitching up at my event, should rather write about me. I take full responsibility”.
The ‘Melandu’ hitmaker has been in the spotlight lately for her failure to pitch up for gigs for various reasons.
In response to Monada’s post on Facebook, the award-winning musician appreciated Monada’s attitude towards her failure to attend, without giving reasons.
In an interview with TshisLive, Open Mic Productions Label Manager Brenden Maseko, said the reason Makhadzi failed to pitch up to the said event, is because the label didn’t receive any payment for her performance.
Another artist who didn’t pitch up for Monada’s event includes ‘Aye Kuwa’ co-hitmaker CK De DJ, who recently had a fallout with King Monada over a song.
