JULESBURG- The 27-year-old Musa Hope Shikwambana affectionately known as Flexaudionative is a multi-talented house music DJ, producer, entrepreneur, podcaster, and event coordinator, who is born and slightly raised in Julesburg outside Tzaneen and currently resides in Johannesburg Kempton park.
As a child growing up in Yeoville at the age of 7 he developed a passion for house music.
He possesses a clear vision of keeping the dance floors packed with ecstatic through his deep house mixes.  “during my younger age I would sneak out from home with my friends to attend house music shows and I was that boy who always carried a speaker at a corner, who always sat in the front seat to play music on our way to school.” Shikwambana said.
The house DJ is edging closer to the pinnacle of his music career, after his hit single featuring SandyKorr titled “pfuka UTI endlela” opened the Top 10 chart of the nationwide South African Broadcasting Commission (SABC)’s Gauteng based radio station 5FM.
He further informed the publication that since the 5FM Top 10 chart it’s a continuous show, he is gunning for the top spot.
GUNNING FOR THE TOP SPOT: Flexaudionative
“I am anxious for number 1 spot because I want people to understand and be motivated by the message behind the song, that whatever you need to achieve in this world, you need to wake up from your bondage and do it for yourself” added.
Tzaneen born spinner is unwavering in his determination to promote and reach out to aspiring artists in his hometown through the Audio native concept that he established with his friend which focuses on bridging a gap between aspiring and seasoned music artists.
Like any other artist, his music journey has not been a walk in the park. According to the DJ, in 2012, he became a resident DJ to a Yeoville -based club and he would sometimes not get paid. The emergence of Gqom Music became a threat to his career because he was only playing house. Due to lack of gigs, the versatile musician established a movement called Audio-Culture that organized house music events that afforded house DJs gigs.
He mentioned that his aim to produce the hit song “pfuka Uti Endlela” with SandyKorr was to mix his style of music with local music.
“I have realized that most artists in Tzaneen are fond of local content music, so I had to mix with music content with the big intention of creating a platform for the local artists such as SandKorr,” the deep-house superstar said.
He further reminded upcoming artists who are anxious about success to build their work and maintain consistency.
“my biggest wish is to change the stigmatized concept that for one to make it, you need to move to the cities Gauteng in particular. keep on working hard where you are and someone will notice your hard work”. Flexaudionative concluded.
