Judgement Day in the Mark Scott Crossley attempted murder case

LENYENYE: The Magistrate’s is expected to hand over judgement in the attempted murder case against Mark Scott-Crossley

The judgement is being handed down at in the Lenyenye Regional Court today.

Scott-Crossley allegedly ran over Silence Mabunda with a 4×4 bakkie back in December 2016 at Campus Res in Hoedspruit following a suspected racial argument.

In his testimony during the trial, the 38 – year old Mabunda told the court that Mark threatened to beat him up and told him that ‘this is not a black man’s space’.

Mabunda further said that the accused then got in the car but passed him before making a u – turn to collect his bottle of Jagermeister and knocked him down.

The medical report read out in the court confims Mabunda’s severe injuries from the incident, with most of damage on the leg.
