GA-MAAKE Stellenbosch FC striker is on a crusade to provide hope and opportunity to the region he originates from, Tzaneen in Mopani District.

The success of Moseamedi’s career has had a massive impact in an area that for the most part finds itself off the football map.

But instead of seeing himself as a celebrity, “Tzaneen Express” sees it as his calling to give back to the community and to provide youngsters the chance to achieve their potential.

On Tuesday, June 14 the stellies forward was once again spotted giving motivational talk at Bessie Maake High School, at Serare village Ga-Maake.

In his talk Moseamedi told learners to reach for their dreams and work hard.

The former Maritzburg United and Cape Town City striker told the learners not to cut corners and to aspire for great things.

Grinning youngsters fired questions at the star about his own career and school days before being treating to photo shoot.

Moseamedi was accompanied by Dr Mohlako Mashego, a pediatrician  from Ga sekororo under Maruleng municipality.

Frank Makau the event coordinator said the visit to the school underlines their organisation’s commitment to empower youth through career expo and motivational speaking.
