Itchy, Weak and in Pain, a Rare Disease Is Troubling Young Boy In Sekororo

GA-SEKORORO- Makwale Malatjie (9) from Callies Village in Maruleng Municipality was diagnosed with Eczema when he was only six months.
Eczema is a common skin condition characterized by itchy, dry, rough, flakey, inflamed, and irritated skin. It often appears on the elbows and behind the knees of children, teenagers, and adults. It can flare up, subside, and then flare up again.
His unemployed mother, Mmaredi Malatjie is unable to get the best medication that can properly treat the condition which has made life so miserable.
“I am not working, the boy needs food that contain lots of nutrients and expensive creams that we can’t get them at the local clinic, that’s why I need help” says the mother.
Anybody who knows Makwale will tell you he’s the cutest, sweetest child in school but his condition made his life difficult because his body will be itchy, forcing him to scratch and sometimes he becomes weak and misses school.
