MARIVENI VILLAGE-The vigilance of the Limpopo Highway patrol, Wilkie k9 security and Letsitele SAPS led to the recovery of a hijacked Allegraine delivery truck at Mariveni Village.
Police said, at about 13:33 on Thursday, officers followed up on information received regarding the whereabouts of a motor vehicle that was hijacked in Nkowankowa in Greater Tzaneen.
The information led them to the nearby bushes in Mariveni Village were they recovered the truck abandoned.
The truck was still intact, no arrests have been made.
“The vehicle will be taken to the SAPS Vehicle Safeguarding Unit, where it will be processed.
The investigation continues.
