GA – MAMPANE: The Police in Nebo have confirmed the arrest of an interim Chief at Ga – Mampane village under Makhuduthamaga Municipality over assault allegations.
The interim Chief allegedly assaulted Mpobonyane Mampana with a stick on Wednesday afternoon.
She was hit on the hand and head until she bled.
This after he accused the 82 – year old pensioner of killing his chickens.
Talking to the media, Mampana said the Chief’s chickens were in her yard for some time.
After the Chickens finally hatched, she decided to take them to the Chief’s palace but was assaulted after she was accused of stealing and killing some of the chickens.
The Police in Nebo have confirmed that the interim Chief has been arrested and is expected to appear in Court soon.
