MOKOPANE: The identity of the Grade 12 learner who was allegedly stabbed to death outside Ben Hlongwane Secondary school has been revealed.
Phillimon Mkomo from Tshamahansi was found dead with several stab wounds on Sunday morning outside the school premises.
The 20 – year-old learner was part of a group of learners doing camping classes in preparation for examinations.
Mkomo reportedly sneaked out of the school premises and guardians at the school were looking for him but couldn’t find him.
Police say they suspect he might have been stabbed somewhere and thereafter ran towards the school and collapsed behind one of the blocks in the school premises.
Learners at Ben Hlongwane Secondary school will receive psychological support before they commence with their examinations today.
