MODJADJISKLOOF – The Modjadjiskloof detectives are appealing to the community for assistance in identifying the body of a deceased male who was struck by a train at the Modjadjiskloof railway.
The tragic incident occurred on Wednesday, 06 November 2024. Emergency responders, including the Modjadjiskloof SAPS, Emergency Medical Services, and Forensic Pathology Services, promptly arrived at the scene. Upon arrival, they discovered the lifeless body of a man with severe wounds, a result of being hit by a goods train.
The body has been safely stored at Kgapane Hospital Mortuary while awaiting identification by family members. Authorities have provided a brief description of the deceased: he was wearing a black trouser and a white T-shirt and is approximately 1.7 meters in height.
The police urge anyone with relevant information that may assist in identifying the deceased to come forward.
