MHANGWENI VILLAGE-The Mhangweni village community is currently reeling from the disappearance of two girls, , Sphiwe, a 13-year-old girl, and Thapelo Olivia Malatji, aged 22, have gone missing since Friday, May 10, 2024.
The two were last seen at 8:00 PM, leaving their residence without informing anyone, leaving two children behind aged 3 years and 10 months.
The family’s primary concern lies with Sphiwe, given her young age and lack of exposure to outdoor life. Thapelo, who has a history of disappearing and leaving her children with anyone, adds another layer of worry to this situation.
The disappearance of Sphiwe and Thapelo has sparked a widespread search effort, with community members and authorities mobilizing to locate them. However, the assistance of the broader public is crucial in expediting their safe return.
