Help find family of man knocked and killed in a hit and Run on R36 Mokgoloboto

MOKGOLOBOTO – Ritavi police are appealing to members of the public for assistance in identifying a deceased African male who was allegedly involved in a hit-and-run accident on Saturday, 06 July 2024, at approximately 07:00 along the R36 near Mokgoloboto village.

According to the information available at this stage, the victim was riding a bicycle when he was knocked down by an unknown motor vehicle, which then fled the scene.

Emergency medical personnel certified the victim dead at the scene.

The deceased is believed to be in his early 60s. He was wearing black formal trousers, a sky blue long sleeve shirt with brown stripes, black water boots, and a black and white Ellesse cap.

Police have opened a case of culpable homicide and have intensified efforts to apprehend the perpetrator.
