Greater Letaba Mayor handed over four wheelchairs as part of Mandela Day

GA-SEKGOPO-Greater Letaba Municipality Mayor Cllr. Dagma Mamanyoha and his delegation handed over wheelchairs to four families in Ga-Sekgopo and Sekgosese villages on Sunday, July 17 as part of his Mandela month activities.

Sarah Lebopa, Pearl Makhubele, Nthabiseng Phosa and Princess Maake were some of the beneficiaries who were visited and received gifts from the Municipality.

The program also included provision of blankets to 60 pensioners comprising of men and women respectively.

In his speech, the mayor expressed great pleasure and said that seeing the smile on Phosa’s face made his heart happy because it means he is touching people’s lives by doing little things.

“If we can continue doing little things to make a positive change in people’s lives, we will continue to make Mandela proud”, the mayor announced.

The Municipality will continue with the gifting of blankets, handing of groceries, handing over wheelchairs and doing house renovations between 17 and July 18, as part of Mandela month activities.
