GIYANI: Two teenage boys and one girl were confirmed dead after a bakkie they were traveling in lost control and overturned on the R81 road next to Xikukwani village on Saturday night.
The only survivor has been transported to Nkhensani Hospital for medical attention.
Limpopo Transport and Community Safety MEC, Polly Boshielo sent messages of condolences to the bereaved families.
“This is a second accident in the Mopani District that has claimed lives over this weekend, which is a cause for concern.
“We continue to plead with motorists to obey the rules of the road, for them to arrive alive at their respective destinations” said MEC Boshielo
Reckless driving is suspected to be the cause of the accident.
